Monster, the Jeffrey Dahmer Story, is Netflix’s new true crime series and tells the tale of one of the more well-known serial murderers in America. Between 1978 to 1991, Jeffrey Dahmer murdered 17 boys and men until he was arrested in July of 1991; following the murder of one of the victims, Tracy Edwards was able to escape and tell the police that he believed he would be to be severely injured.
Dahmer pleaded guilty but was insane for one of the murders he admitted to having committed. In February 1992, a jury found him sane in each murder, and he was sentenced to 15 life sentences. Dahmer has sentenced to a sum of 941 years of prison time; however, the serial killer with a cannibal past had a shorter time in prison, a mere three years in prison before his death.

How did Jeffrey Dahmer die?
Dahmer was scheduled to be sentenced to the Columbia Correctional Institution in Wisconsin. Due to the amount of attention his crimes and his conduct received by the prison authorities, they felt it was more secure to isolate Dahmer from the public. Dahmer was confined from the other prisoners and was shackled whenever he was not inside his cell.
After his first year in prison, Dahmer sought greater freedom in his movement as well as interactions with fellow prisoners. Dahmer was allowed to attend classes, have meals with other prisoners and perform work. In jail, Dahmer was known to joke, make taunts, and tell prisoners, “I bit you”.
Dahmer’s taunts frightened the prisoner Christopher Scarver. The Dahmer incident occurred in November of 1994. had been on cleaning the gym’s bathrooms, and he, along with two other prisoners, Jesse Anderson and Christopher Scarver, was left in the bathroom for about 20 minutes. After the guards returned to the prison, they discovered the bodies of the battered belonged to two prisoners, including Dahmer Anderson. Christopher Scarver beat Jeffrey Dahmer to death and died within an hour of guards finding his body.
What was the reason Christopher Scarver killed Jeffrey Dahmer?
In 2015 Christopher Scarver revealed to the New York Post his motives for murdering Jeffrey Dahmer. Scarver stated that he chose to murder Dahmer because his eyes were unrepentant regarding the crimes he’d committed, which included eating and dismembering people.
Scarver claimed: “He crossed the line with some people, prisoners, prison personnel. Certain people in prison have repentance – but Dahmer wasn’t one of the group.” He claimed that Dahmer would make ketchup-based packets to imitate blood and mold foods from prison into the form of body parts in order to draw attention to Dahmer’s Milwaukee Cannibal nickname.
Scarver’s claims were confirmed by the prion’s pastor, Roy Ratcliff, who claimed that Dahmer was carrying a Cannibals Anonymous Meeting post in his room. But, the claim was disproved after Dahmer’s lawyer Gerald Boyle, said taunting was not Dahmer’s “style”. Boyle stated: “He killed people, but he did not taunt anyone. I’ve never seen him do anything to make me believe that it was a way to relive the deaths were caused by him. I don’t think so.”
Who exactly is Christopher Scarver?
Christopher Scarver was sentenced to life in prison in the year 1990 as a result of the murder of Steven Lohman, a worker at the Wisconsin Conservation Corps. The story said that Scarver started drinking and was hearing voices call the victim “the preferred one” following his dismissal from his position. Scarver was back at his former job and demanded cash from a site manager, and when he received 15 dollars, Scarver was able to shoot Lohman three times.
Scarver was sentenced to life imprisonment and sent to the Columbia Correctional Institution in Wisconsin. It was in 2003 that Scarver received a relocation to the prison located in Colorado together with three dozen mentally ill inmates “in the wake of a class-action lawsuit brought by the prisoner.” American actor Furly Mac plays the role of Scarver on The Netflix show, Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story.

What is Christopher Scarver now?
Christopher Scarver is still in prison, serving life sentences in multiple cases. In the wake of his interview with the New York Post, Scarver has denied many claims in the report. In the present, Scarver writes poetry and music compositions, and he published an autobiography entitled The Child to be Left Behind in 2015.
