Operation Flagrant Foul’ is an unscripted documentary that we could describe as both thrilling and alarming because it chronicles what happened in 2007 during the NBA gambling scandal.

However, he was directly involved with the crime through phone logs of conversations to and from the two other men.

While it came to light that Tommy was suffering from a not diagnosed personal disorder and was diagnosed with a personality disorder, he nevertheless admitted guilt to a single charge of conspiracy for committing wire fraud. In July 2008, a Federal judge sentenced him to 366 hours in prison. He had to pay $233,317 compensation (alongside the fellow co-conspirators) in restitution to the NBA for deceiving the league. “I apologize to all those I let down,” the judge said in his hearing to determine his sentence. “I promise I will do everything possible to restore my reputation.” He was removed from MDC Brooklyn, as expected, one year later.

Thomas “Tommy” Martino was approached to sell his right to the life of his for a motion picture shortly after his release and did think about it, as he wanted the cash. Fortunately, Martino first spoke with a cousin about the idea, and he bought the rights by himself since the initial deal was not fair. These events resulted in the movie “Inside Game” coming to life. It’s directed by Randall Batinkoff and Paul Martino and produced a film about the same scandal of 2007.
