CBS’ “Fire Country” is a drama about a young man named Bode Donovan, who has a troubled past and is now trying to make amends. He is assigned to his hometown as part of a firefighting training program in an attempt to reduce his sentence. He will be working with his old friends, fellow cellmates and professional firefighters to extinguish all the large fires in the area.
The dramatic story is enhanced by the impressive performances of a number of talented actresses and actors, including Max Thieriot and Billy Burke. “Fire Country” is shot in British Columbia, particularly in Metro Vancouver, Fort Langley and Squamish. According to reports, the pilot episode was shot in March 2022. Metro Vancouver, British Columbia
The primary location for drama series production is Metro Vancouver (aka Greater Vancouver), a metro area that includes Vancouver. The Anmore village in Metro Vancouver represents the show’s fictional town of Edgewater. Greater Vancouver is located in the southwest corner of British Columbia and has been the location of numerous filming projects, including ‘Diary of a Wimpy Kid,’ ‘Deadpool,’ ‘Devil In Ohio,’ and quantum Leap.
Fort Langley (British Columbia)
According to reports, the “Fire Country” cast also used Fort Langley as a location for filming scenes set in Edgewater, a fictional Northern Californian town. Fort Langley is located at the Township of Langley’s northern edge. It is home to many sites of interest, such as Fort Langley Community Park and Fort Langley Community Hall. The Fort Langley National Historic Site and the BC Farm and Equipment Museum are also nearby.
