ABC’s ’20/20′: Mystery in Memphis chronicles the heartbreaking story of the disappearance and death of former NBA star Lorenzen Wright, which occurred in July of 2010. The basketball player fatally shot in Memphis, Tennessee, had been to the region away from home in Atlanta, Georgia, to visit his ex-wife Sherra Wright-Robinson and their children.
Sherra and Lorenzen were divorced five months before that; however, for their families, they were a good couple, or at least, it seemed like it. Who Are Lorenzen and Sherra Wright’s Kids?
When Lorenzen Wright and Sherra Wright were married, they welcomed seven gorgeous children into their homes. On April 11, 1995, the first of their children, Lorenzen Wright Jr., was born. Their eldest daughter was Loren Wright. Following her were twins Lamar and Shamar Wright, who was later followed by their youngest, their other child, Sofia Wright, who is currently in her teens. One of their children is Lawson Wright. They also had a girl, Sierra Wright, who was born on March 14, 2002, but tragically, 11 months later, on March 1, 2003, she died in the family home of Memphis, Tennessee, due to sudden infant death syndrome.

In the month of December 2017, when Sherra Wright-Robinson’s arrest was made along with, her six remaining children resided in California together. When she was convicted of the charge of aiding in murder for her involvement in the murder of her husband’s ex in the first degree and sentenced to 30 years of prison, Her children stood by her, believing in the person she truly was. When she was sentenced to a plea bargain and confessed that she had made this conclusion solely for and in the name of her children and added that “everything is not what it seems.”
Loren Wright, who seemed the most vocal in her mother’s trial, said she and her family members were very close and that if they weren’t talking to any of their relatives or friend, it was because they did not want to be and not due to being disallowed to do so by the mother. That, naturally, occurred after Lorenzen’s mom, Deborah Marion, asked Sherra Wright in court to grant her the right to view and talk to her grandchildren without restriction. What Loren claimed was that the children were just looking for some privacy. “We all are so close to each other. We feel like we don’t need much support because we have my mom and the six of us, and we’re OK.”
Where Are Lorenzen and Sherra Wright’s Kids Today?
Lorenzen Wright Jr., aged 25, was employed as a basketball coach and instructing high school students. Now, he’s employed by QC Investors and spends his time between Riverside, California, and Memphis, Tennessee, to manage his work and personal life. Loren Wright, however, according to her profile on Facebook, is married and lives in Charlotte, North Carolina. It appears that she is under the care of Sofia. According to some reports, Loren is a registered nurse.

In the case of Shamar and Lamar Wright, the twins have taken their father’s path and are on their path toward being professional players in basketball. Both are forwards on the SIU Edwardsville Cougars Men’s Basketball team, a Division 1 team, and are hoping to continue playing soon, too. However, little is known about Lawson, aside from being a native of Houston, Texas. He is in Houston, Texas, and supports his siblings in everything they are involved in. Today the six Wright children can maintain their mom’s innocence.
