In the case of six seasons to come, here’s the latest information. In March of 2020, it was announced that this would be the last season for the show. The good news is that this animated series concluded at its own discretion and was not terminated by Netflix. As season 4 concluded, the plot appeared to be finalizing.
The show’s creator and showrunner, Noelle Stevenson, spoke to Entertainment Weekly in March 2020 and explained why the show would end in five years. She said, “I do feel very fortunate because we knew right from the beginning what the order of our episodes was, which allowed us to craft the story specific to the length of the show would run. The show was designed to run 52 episodes, which is the length it’s at in, which is a major benefit for a storyteller since it ensures that everything happens in the order it’s supposed to occur.” She further stated, “We set out with an idea, and we followed the plan, and it’s gratifying to see the story end in this manner. I’m extremely satisfied with the direction we’ve taken at the end of this one.” So it’s confirmed that the show ended naturally.
In a subsequent conversation, Stevenson shared what inspired her to make a comic that revolves around She-Ra, the character. The animator and cartoonist revealed to Comicbook, “She’s [She-Ra] so often been a character who appears in He-Man’s story and he and hers, but I don’t think that she’s ever had a story that’s focused on her, the way that so many stories just were solely about He-Man.”
Stevenson added, “So I think being able to create something that is sort of self-contained and standalone while sort of pressing on some of the bigger mythology of the Masters of the Universe world – I’m really proud to have been able to do that.” She was also looking forward to seeing her character in different projects. In the end, taking everything into account, it’s unlikely that “She-Ra and the Princesses of Power season 6” will ever be produced.
There’s no doubt this show is a hit with a huge and active fan base. In the year 2019, the month of April, a joke about April Fool’s Day went viral as the Twitter account declared that the Tabletop RPG (Role Playing Game) focused on She-Ra and the other characters would be released in 2020. However, it sparked an overwhelming response, as many people expressed an interest in seeing it as an actual reality. Stevenson herself has admitted to being interested in the possibility. In her interview with Comicbook Stevenson, she admitted, “I think that would be amazing. And I’m aware of a couple of people who have made non-official versions.”

Stevenson said, “So it’s something I would be very interested in, but I don’t have any other information.” She also clarified that there were no formal talks had taken to discuss the possibility of releasing an RPG. All in all, there’s no harm in wishing we get to meet the characters in one way or another.
