According to a statement by Dance Gavin Dance, Tim Feerick, a well-known bassist, died on the night between April 13 and 14, according to a statement. Feerick was a long-standing member of Dance Gavin Dance. Feerick joined Dance Gavin Dance in 2009 and left the company the next year. Afterburner, the band’s most recent album, was his last album. A California coroner is currently investigating the premature death of Dance Gavin Dance bassist Tim Feerick (34), according to an official. According to Sacramento County Coroner’s Office papers, the rocker died on Wednesday from unspecified causes at an apartment building called “The Retreat” in the city’s east.

Feerick joined Dance Gavin Dance as a replacement for Jason Ellis in 2009. This was just before the release of Dance Gavin’s third studio album, “Happiness”. Feerick joined the band in 2009 as a touring musician. He left the band after less than a year. The band then reunited with Eric Lodge, the founder bassist, who had previously worked alongside them from 2005 to 2008.
Lodge was again tapped out in 2012 and Feerick was hired as a full-time musician. He made his studio debut in 2013 with Dance Gavin Dance. He was a part of all four albums by the band, including 2015’s Instant Gratification’, 2016’s Mothership’, 2018’s ’Artificial Selection’ and 2020’s ‘Afterburner. He also recorded tracks for their unnamed tenth album. The album’s debut single, ‘Synergy’, was a collaboration between Rob Damiani and Don Broco singer Rob Damiani. The band is not sure if Feerick’s death will affect their plans to release the album this year.
Feerick joined Wolf & Bear as Nathaniel Duarte’s replacement when the band signed to Blue Swan Records. The label was run by Dance Gavin Dancer Will Swan. Feerick was a part of the band’s full-length album, “Everything Is Go Grey”, as well as the EP, “Grey Sessions”, released the following year, and the singles, “Street Rat” and “Monstro,” for 2020.
