Classroom of the Elite Season 2 Episode 9 Recap

Kushida meets Ryuuen as she tries to get both Ayanokouji’s and Horikita’s futures in jeopardy. On condition that she provides her with questions papers, she offers to help Class C beat her class in Paper Shuffle Exam. Ryuuen accepts the offer and is naturally interested. Kushida advises Ryuuen not to let the mastermind take control of him again before he returns to his class. However, Ryuuen seems quite certain that he is in control.

Ayanokouji then meets with his study group to prepare for the Paper Shuffle. He feels he wastes too much time and wants to return to his old routine. Yukimura’s efforts are paying off as Haruka, Akito, and others appear to be making great progress. Ryuuen and his men invade their meeting. He asks them if they like his gift and doesn’t point to anyone. Akito attempts to confront him but simply mentions that he wanted them to welcome him today and walks off.

Haruka shared her plans to make the study group a place where everyone is always there for each other after the meeting. They must refer to one another by their first names. All agree, but Yukimura doesn’t want anyone to use his first name because it was given to him by his mother when he was very young. He tells them to call him Keisei, as his father had wanted him to be called that. Ayanokouji called Karuizawa the next night to ask for a favor.

Karuizawa accuses Kushida, a Class D student, of being dishonest and manipulative when they sit down to discuss preparations for the Shuffle Exam. In anger, she throws a glass of water at Kushida and apologizes. Karuizawa convinces Kushida that she will give her the school uniform to wash. Kushida then meets Miss Chabasira later that day and submits her question paper for Paper Shuffle. After she is certain that she has the correct questions, Kushida gives the paper to Ryuen, who then sends her the final exam question papers.

After the exam, she immediately confronts Ryuen to ask him about his actions and find out what went wrong. Kushida wasn’t the only one to submit questions for the Shuffle exam. Horikita actually met with her the day after the announcement to request that she only accept question papers from class representatives. Naturally, Ryuuen found out about it shortly afterward.

He didn’t really understand the question papers, so he gave Kushida the wrong question papers. This is what caused her to fail. She later met Horikita, and they wanted to stay in the past but trust each other. Kushida admitted that she hated Horikita more than ever and would now pursue Ayanokouji for her revenge. Kushida will continue to pursue Ayanokouji even though she didn’t win the bet, as she promised not to let him get away.
