How Did Christa Worthington Die?
Christa was the daughter of an attorney. She was the sole child and was raised in Hingham, Massachusetts. After schooling, she went to Vassar College in New York and pursued English. After that, she relocated to Manhattan, New York, and was a fashion journalist, writing for magazines like the New York Times, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, and numerous others. In 1997 Christa moved to Truro, and her family had deep roots in Truro, but she wanted to make a change.
On the 6th of January 2002, a past friend, Tim Arnold, came to Christa’s home to retrieve a flashlight. However, inside, he could see her lying on the floor with their daughter Ava who was by her side. Tim immediately dialed 911, and the police arrived to discover Christa naked from the waist to the floor and lying in an area of blood. It was apparent that she had been brutally beaten and then stabbed through the lung of her left; the blade sliced through her body before touching the floor underneath her.

Who Killed Christa Worthington?

However, after Christopher was confronted by the genetic evidence against him, he confessed that he went to her home on the 4th of January 2002 to have sexual relations with her. Although Christopher admitted to having beaten her, he claimed that the attack was carried out by a close friend of his own, Jeremy Frazier; the two were at a party earlier in the evening.
The conflicting stories were important during Christopher’s trial for Christa’s murder. The prosecution claimed Christopher was responsible for killing Christa following her return to her home following the party, the defense claimed they had only sex and that someone else was responsible for killing the mother, who was a single parent.
