Cherish The Day Season 2 is a romantic anthology series that shows the relationship between a couple who have known each other since high school and are now reunited in the city of New Orleans. The rekindling of love is a delightful sight to watch. Ellis (Henry Simmons) and Sunday (Joy Bryant) rekindle their high school love, but the situations and circumstances they are in now are completely different. Ellis is a single father of 2 kids, and Sunday has now become a celebrity chef at the peak of being famous. The story goes on to show the changes in their love and personal life.
The first season revolved around the relationship between Gently James (Xosha Roquemore) and Evan Fisher (Alano Miller). The plot was set in Los Angeles and showed a span of 5 years in a series. Evan meets Gently at a local library, and gradually they fall in love. Gently had trust issues and was afraid to be vulnerable, and therefore has guarded her heart to fall in love.
